Salome is a Gender and Social Inclusion Expert at Safedrive Africa Foundation. Having worked in NGO sector in various leading organizations, she brings value and innovative approaches to all partners who seek critical gender knowledge especially in monitoring, policy formulation and gender mainstreaming. Currently, she is also the Program Officer – Inclusivity at BBI Foundation. She worked as: a Gender Expert for Pan African Climate Justice Alliance; a Resource Mobilization Manager for Maji Zima Limited; a Program Manager for African Center for People, Institutions and Society; and, a Human Rights Educator for Amnesty International Kenya Amongst others.
Salome is currently undertaking Master’s Degree in Gender and Development at Egerton University. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Gender, Women and Development from the same. She has attended various professional trainings in Monitoring and Evaluation, Leadership, Instructional development and Trainings.
